1. Hi, tell us a little bit about you . Where are you from ? What are you doing ? (School , Work etc.) How old are you ?
Where are you from ?
Essex, England
What are you doing ?
I'm currently working in Nightclub/music venue in my home town. Strange hours but
it's great to meet bands from around the country and from further afield.
How old are you ?
22 - Getting on. :)

2. When do you started skinning and for which game?
I'm still pretty new to the game, I'd say I've only really been skinning maybe 5 months on and off. I do a lot of everything, if I'm not skinning I'll be map-making, fiddling around on the guitar, cartooning / animating ( See SabbathCat ), and drinking a hell of a lot of coffee.

3. Do you remember your first skin ?
Yeah, it was awful - I thougt I'd have a go at altering the original Unreal female models skins, I tried making an old woman skin, complete with dodgy make-up and wrinkles, it didn't turn out that bad, but I couldn't figure out how to get it into the game until I discovered Utskinmaker (Acordero.org ) and by that time I'd moved on to robots. :)

4. Can you tell us, for which games you have made customskins?
Only really UT, I've not had the time or the money to really play about with other games, and really, there's enough to keep me interested in UT in the mapping and skinning sense, .

5. Which Skin's/Model's you have made for Unreal Tournament?
A whole bunch of xan mkII skins so far, though I've got a load waiting in the wings, it's just a case of getting time to figure out how to get half of them in game, a lot of them refuse to be compiled by skinmaker, and I get easily confused by .int files. :P
I've still got one for the cobra I made yonks ago that's in need of sorting, as well as a gollum in S&M gear. ;)

6.What skin/model are you working on at the moment?
I'm working on a skin at the moment for a meaty looking minotaur by H2olt :)
There should be a fair few skins for it when it's released, though it's a new thing for me to be working on a model before it's in game.
It'll be great to finally see it in-game when he's finished the animation.

7. How much time do you spend on a great skin/model?
I try to get things finished inside a week if I can, my trouble is I'm easily distracted and if I leave it to long, I'll forget about it.

8. Do you want to say something to the community?
If you're thinking about making skins/mapping/modeling, you couldn't have picked a better time to do it, even in the short time I've been playing around with UT and Unreal I've seen the community grow into something that makes the process of learning the techinques a lot easier on the n00bs. :)
If there are people out there like Antonio Cordero Balcázar(Acordero.org) making great programs like utskinmaker and the like, the future of game editing looks bright. :)
Also with the release of free versions of some of the top 3d modelling software, anyone wanting to get into map/player model making will have plenty of resources to get started, and who knows, maybe eventually a job in the industry. :)

9. Can you imaging, making skins for other games like Unreal2 in the future?
I hope so, comming in on the tail end of the big UT thing I only just managed to jump on that boat, so I'd like to be able be there from the beginning on this one.
My only worry is, as the game technology gets ever more sophisticated it'll require more work on the part of the modeller/skinner/mapper to get thier ideas working in game.
At this point it's just speculation, so until the game gets released, I won't know what's involved.
Hopefully though, if there are people out there like Antonio Balcázar, and plenty of readily available modelling tools, there will still be a place for the week-end skinner/mapper/modeler. :)
