1. Hi, tell us a little bit about you . Where are you from ? What are you doing ? (School , Work etc.) How old are you ?

I´m 43years old and work as biologist in a research department of a big hospital in Heidelberg, germany. I´m interested in tumor biology and especially in a process called "apoptosis". That´s the reason for my player nickname.
2. When do you started skinning and for which game?

I started skinning around december 2002. UT2003 is so far the only game I make skins, models and maps for.
3. Do you remember your first skin ?

First skin/model was MAYA . It was the beginning of a steep learning curve :)
4. Can you tell us, for which games you have made customskins?

Only UT2003
5. Which Skin's/Model's you have made for UT/UT2003?

I never made a skin on its own. The goal was always to learn creating models. I started with MAYA , a custom model using the default UT female skeleton. Next was APOPTOID which I made for myself to play with. It also uses a UT skeleton. The third was DROIDEKA . My first one with custom skeleton and animations. The last so far is KYLA , a improved twin of MAYA .
6.What skin/model are you working on at the moment?

Just finished a new version of DROIDEKA and KYLA . There is no model in progress at the moment. I´m thinking about making vehicles for UT2004.
7. How much time do you spend on a great skin/model?

The question is, what is a great model? The time depends of course on the complexity of the project. A good skin can be done in 3-4 days. But for DROIDEKA for example I had to learn to use the software, making skeletons and animations, putting all together in UnrealED and testing, testing and testing. All this took at least 3 months.
8. Is there anything you would like to say to tell the community?

Of course I want to thank all for downloading and using my maps and models. I also want to encourage all to make their own stuff. The beginning is hard, but its worth not to give up :) Start with default UT skeletons before going into Max or Maya to create your own model and animations. And finally, for everyone who is making skins and models the feedback from the users is very important for further improvements. So please send your comments!
